Description
|
|
Newly renovated 5 bedroom 2 full bathroom home on a dead end
residential street with large rooms and beautiful views of Lake
George and the Adirondack Mountains. This 1/2 acre property is level
and a grass lawn off the 40' deck leads to the lake. The water level
at the beginning of the dock is ankle deep sand and clay and
gradually reaches 4' deep at the far end of the 40' dock. This is a
5MPH no wake zone so your family will be safe and you will enjoy the
peaceful environment. Travel five minutes south on the Lake by boat
and you can water ski and cruise about 30 miles down the lake to
Lake George Village where public boat parking is available. Visitors
in the know will tell you that the Northern Basin of Lake George is
less crowded, more scenic and offers better fishing with less boat
traffic. Fort Ticonderoga is only 10 minutes away. This year marks
the 250th anniversary of the French & Indian War. The Fort will have
many special events and reenactments planned. This home actually
sits on the encampment site used by the British forces before they
attacked the fort. Centrally located in the Adirondacks, you can get
to Montreal in two hours or Great Escape Amusement Park in
Queensbury in an hour. Lake George Village is a beautiful lake side
drive of 45 minutes to the southern end of Lake George. If you are a
fisherman, you can easily fish both Lake George and Lake Champlain
from our home. There are free public launches close by for both
lakes. You can use one side of our 40' dock with electric for your
boat. Or you can rent a speed boat from the Snug Harbor Marina about
a mile down the lake. Or just relax in the brand new Hot Spring Aria
hot tub which seats five. If you are looking for a vacation of a
lifetime with wonderful memories, welcome to paradise. This is it.
We are a member of the Ticonderoga, NY Chamber of Commerce.
